Block mobile ads, the easy way

Adblock installs a tiny on-device certificate that filters ads from apps and websites — nothing leaves your phone.

Takes about a minute. After the download you'll install the certificate in Settings, then turn on the certificate under Certificate Trust Settings.

Install the certificate

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, then:

  1. Tap Profile Downloaded at the top of the Settings app
  2. Tap Install in the top-right
  3. Enter your iPhone passcode
  4. Tap Install once more to confirm

Turn on the Adblock certificate

Back in Settings → General, finish the trust step:

  1. In Settings → General, tap About
  2. Scroll down and tap Certificate Trust Settings
  3. Toggle the Adblock certificate on

You're all set!

Adblock is now blocking ads on this device. You can toggle it any time from the iPhone Settings app.

Turn Adblock back on

Your Adblock certificate is installed but currently switched off, so ads aren't being blocked yet. Re-enable it in Settings:

  1. Open Settings → General
  2. Tap About
  3. Scroll down and tap Certificate Trust Settings
  4. Toggle the Adblock certificate on
